Premium Pull Up Banners

What is the difference between Premium, Luxury and Frameless Pull Ups?

I know we have given you so many choices but deciding on the Pull Up Banner is right for you comes down to your personal choice. The graphics are all printed in full colour on the same smooth polypropylene material, but when it comes to the bases you will see a difference.
The Premium Pull Up Banner is a high quality base with a timeless design supplied with a 12 month warranty. This pull up banner offers great value and also easy to transport and assemble.
Luxury Pull Up Banners look great and are designed to last with a 3 year warranty. If you are looking for a solid frame with that premium feel then this is the one for you!
Our Frameless Pull Up Banners are here for the frame haters. If you want a clean look that does not intrude on your graphics then add a Frameless Pull Up Banner to your cart now!

Can the Premium banner stand be used outdoors?

We do not recommend that the banner stands be used outdoors as the large banner can catch the wind. However we are aware that many customers do use them this way and take care not to use them when it is windy.

What is a Shopping Centre Approved Pull Up Banner?

Some Shopping Centres have requirements around how high that your pull up banner can be. We have made the Shopping Centre Approved Pull Up Banner to be a maximum of 1400mm tall (including the base) to meet these requirements. Please be aware that the rules can vary from location to location, so if you intend on ordering a pull up banner to use in a shopping centre, we recommend you speak directly with the centre management to understand what the rules are.

Can you replace the banner on my existing Pull Up Banner stand?

We do not replace the printed banners on existing Pull Up Banner stands - we only supply new complete units. The reasons for this are:

1. The labour cost involved in removing the old banner and installing a new banner into the stand is expensive
2. A number of banner stands will be destroyed when trying to change over the banners
3. A number of banner stands are in very poor condition and not worth re-using
4. Our low cost for the complete new units makes it a better option than changing over banners on existing units

I have multiple designs, are there extra setup fees?

Yes, our price includes the set up cost for 1 design only. If you have multiple designs for the same size you will still get the lower bulk price, however there is a small multiple artwork charge applied for each additional design to cover our extra set up costs. Simply enter the total number of signs required and then the total number of designs into the pricing calculator above - and it will work out an accurate price for you.

Teardrop Banners

What thickness polyester fabric do you supply for Teardrop Banners?

Our Teardrop Banners are printed on our high quality SignWeave™ polyester fabric. Our single sided Teardrop Banners use a 120gsm SignWeave™ material. Our double sided Teardrop Banners are printed onto a special 145gsm Blockout SignWeave™ material and 2 of these banners are sewn back to back.

How long will the print on the flags last?

All of our polyester flags are printed using the dye sublimation process which provides high quality print and vibrant colours.

When used internally (i.e. out of the sun and weather) these flags will last indefinitely.
When used outdoors the dye sublimated polyester flags will fade over time - and the amount of fading will depend on the amount of UV they are exposed to. As an indication we would expect the flags to last 6 - 12 months before fading when they are left outside all the time - but this could vary dramatically depending on the conditions they are exposed to. It should be noted that flags supplied by other suppliers in Australia will last for the same amount of time as they are all printed with the same dye sublimation process.
Our replacement flags have very low prices so you can simply replace the flags when required and continue to use the same poles and bases.

What is the sleeve and what colour should I select?

The sleeve is the pocket that that pole slides into and it created using a strong fabric. We can use either black or white material for this part. Most people try to match it with the artwork, if the background is white they would select a white sleeve and vice versa. If your flag isn’t white or black it comes down to personal preference.

What does single sided mirror reverse print mean?

The artwork is printed on one side of the flag so you see the correct image and colour on that side. The other side of the flag will display the mirror image of the artwork and the colour will have less vibrancy (as the printed image has bled through from the other side of the flag). You can read more about the differences between single-sided mirror reverse and double-sided printing

How are the double sided flags printed?

We print them on our SignWeave™ Block Out Polyester Material and sew them together (back to back) to get a high quality satin printed finish that can be read correctly from both sides.

How do I tension my Flag?

To ensure that your Flag looks perfect and does not get damaged over time, it is important to follow the Flag Tensioning Guide that is supplied with your flag and available for download on this page.

What is the difference between the Cross Base & Water Bag and the Premium Cross Base?

The Cross Base & Water Bag is finished with chrome plating and has 4 legs that fold out and back together so, when it is folded up it is very compact. When used with a filled 10 kg Water Bag, it provides good stability for our flags. The new Premium Cross Base has 2 x 50mm wide black powdercoated steel plates that are in an “X” shape and are then folded back together for transportation. The base is 825mm wide so provides great stability on hard surfaces. The 2 plates also have 10mm holes in each end, so you can attach 4 tent pegs through the holes to provide excellent stability on non-solid surfaces. The powdercoated finish provides this base with greater longevity when exposed to the elements.

Why are the Flag Pole Sets not smooth?

Our Pole Sets are made from strong fibreglass and finished in a rough black finish instead of being polished and painted silver. This finish makes the pole set more durable ensuring that they last whether you are using them indoors or outdoors. As our poles made for Australian conditions they come with a 2-year warranty.
